Raj Telecom

Raj Telecom is located over in Mangolpuri, at E-932. It’s a typical neighborhood shop in a busy part of the city. Mangole Puri has its own rhythm, and we’ve been part of it for a while now. The shop at E-932 isn’t very big, but we manage to fit everything we need inside. There’s a counter where we sit and a few shelves for the stock. We don't have any big advertisements or flashy signs. It’s just the name Raj Telecom painted above the door. The morning starts with opening the heavy iron shutters, which always make a loud noise on the pavement. Then we settle in for the day. People from the E-block come in to get their stuff sorted out. The street outside is usually full of life, with people selling vegetables and kids running around. It can get quite loud, but we’re used to it. We keep a small diary to note things down and a pen that’s usually tied to the counter so it doesn't go missing. It’s a very simple operation. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. We just stay at E-932, do our work, and talk to whoever walks in. When the sun goes down, we pack up, lock the door, and head home like everyone else in Mangolpuri. It’s just a regular shop in a regular neighborhood.
