Radisson Plaza Udaipur

Our location is at 89 M.E.S Colony in Chandimandir Cantt. It might seem a bit odd to have an office for a Udaipur place way out here, but this is where we do a lot of the coordination and back-office tasks. The area is quiet because it’s near the cantonment, which is a nice change from the middle of the city. We spend our time answering emails and taking calls from people who want to visit Udaipur. We have to keep track of the room availability and talk to the staff down at the actual plaza to see how things are going. It’s a lot of long-distance communication. Our office is pretty simple, just some desks, some old filing cabinets, and a kettle for making coffee. We don’t have any marketing people here, just us managing the logs and the guest lists. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to wait for pages to load, which is frustrating. We are just a small team of people who know the hotel business well. We don't have any big speeches about our values. We just try to make sure that when someone arrives in Udaipur, their name is on the list and their room is ready. It is a lot of checking and double-checking numbers. We’ve been at this M.E.S Colony spot for quite a while now and we just keep doing what we do every day without any big fuss.
