We are based over in A-Shastri Nagar, which is where we manage things for the Radisson Hotel Delhi. It’s a pretty big operation to keep track of. The hotel has a lot of rooms and there’s always something happening, whether it's guests checking in at midnight or breakfast being served at dawn. Our office in Shastri Nagar is where the behind-the-scenes stuff happens. It’s not as fancy as the hotel lobby, mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of coffee cups. We handle the bookings and the staff schedules from here. Delhi is a loud, fast-moving city, and working in the hotel business means you never really have a quiet day. We have people from all over the world staying with us, which is cool but also means we have to be ready for anything. Some days are smoother than others. We’ve had times when the internet goes down or the laundry gets delayed, and we just have to scramble to fix it. We aren't trying to sound like a big corporate machine. We’re just a group of people trying to make sure the guests have a bed to sleep in and a roof over their heads. It’s a lot of coordination between the front desk and the cleaning crews. We spend most of our time on the phone or sending emails back and forth to keep things moving along. It takes a lot of effort from everyone involved here.
