We set up Radhika Electronics over in the Naraina Industrial Area, right near the Iicc PVR Market. It’s an interesting spot because you get a mix of industrial workers and people just out for a movie or shopping. We handle all sorts of electronic components and repairs. The shop is usually filled with the smell of solder and old circuit boards. It’s a bit cluttered, I’ll admit that. There are wires hanging in places they probably shouldn't be, but I know where everything is. My father started this place, and I took over after he decided he’d had enough of the commute. We don’t spend money on advertising. Most people find us because someone else told them we could fix their old TV or radio. We don’t mind working on the older stuff that most new shops won't touch. It takes time and a bit of patience to figure out what's wrong with some of these gadgets. The market gets very noisy in the evenings, but inside the shop, it’s usually just the sound of the fan and whatever we’re working on. We don’t have any big plans to expand or move. This spot in Naraina works just fine for us. We stay busy enough to keep the lights on and then some. It’s honest work and it keeps my hands busy during the slow hours. We enjoy the local crowd and the regulars who stop by to chat while we work.
