Rachna Travels

We are tucked away on the first floor of building 2220 in Gali Hingabeg. If you know Tilak Bazar, you know how narrow and crowded the lanes can get. It is a very busy part of Delhi 110006, and our office is right in the thick of it. You have to climb a narrow set of stairs to get up to us. Once you're inside, it's a bit quieter than the street, but you can still hear the carts and people shouting down below. We handle a lot of travel arrangements from this small space. There are papers everywhere and the phones never seem to stop ringing. We don't have any big neon signs or a fancy waiting room. Most of our work is done through word of mouth and people we have known for years. The market outside sells all kinds of things, so it’s always a bit of a struggle to get through the crowd to reach the door. We drink a lot of tea while we work on bookings and schedules. It is a simple life and we have been in this same spot for a long time. People trust us because they know where to find us, even if the lane is a bit hard to navigate. We just do our work and go home like everyone else in the bazaar. It is just the way things are done here.
