R Khhater

R Khhater is my little operation over here at 13/1, right by the Rak College of Nursing in Lajpat Nagar. It’s a lively area, as anyone who lives in New Delhi knows. Being so close to the college means there are always students walking around and a lot of energy in the air. My office isn't very large. It’s mostly just enough room for a desk, a few chairs for visitors, and my computer. I’ve been here for quite some time, and I’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. I don’t have a big staff or a fancy HR department. It’s mostly just me and sometimes a helper if things get really busy. I handle a lot of paperwork and meetings throughout the day. Some people might think it’s boring, but I like the routine of it. I wake up, have my tea, and walk over to open up. Lajpat Nagar is a great place to be because everything you need is right around the corner. If the power goes out, which happens sometimes, we just open the windows and wait it out. It’s not a polished corporate office with marble floors. It’s just a real place where real work happens. I don’t believe in making things more complicated than they need to be. I just take things one day at a time and see who walks through the door to do business.
