We have been here at C-6 Sawal Nagar for quite a while now. Running Qutab Hotel isn’t always an easy job, especially when the neighborhood gets really busy or the weather turns bad, but we usually make it work. Most days for us start pretty early with checking the lobby area and making sure everything is where it should be for the folks staying with us. It is a plain building, nothing too fancy to look at, just a place for people to stay when they are passing through this part of town. We spend a lot of our time just keeping up with the daily stuff, like fixing a leaky tap in one of the rooms or making sure the sheets are clean for the next person who walks in the door. Sawal Nagar is a crowded area, so there is almost always some noise coming in from the street, but you get used to it after a few weeks of working here. The staff here mostly knows the regulars by their names now. We don't really have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just us here on the ground, dealing with whatever comes up during the day. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power goes out, and then we have to scramble to fix it before anyone really notices. It is just the reality of running a small place like this. We don’t have any big speeches to give. We just open the doors and handle the daily bookings.
