Ques Qai, New Delhi

We are based out of Shree Hith Apartment, specifically Plote No-148, S-3 in Sector-6. It’s part of the Media Enclave in Vaishali, which is actually just over the border in U.P. but we are very much tied to the New Delhi scene. Working out of an apartment feels a lot different than a regular office building. It’s quieter, for one thing, though you still hear the usual sounds of the residential block. Our space is on the third floor, and it’s where we handle all the daily tasks for Ques Qai. It’s a functional setup with a few desks squeezed into what used to be a living room. We spend our time going through emails and coordinating things from our computers. The balcony gives us a little bit of air when things get too stuffy inside. We aren't a giant operation with hundreds of employees; it’s a small, tight-knit group of us just trying to keep the business moving. Sometimes the lift in the building is out of order, so we get our exercise for the day on the stairs. It’s a decent place to work, away from the extreme noise of the main market areas. We keep things pretty simple here. There are no receptionists or lobby areas, just us at our workstations surrounded by folders and the occasional coffee mug that’s been sitting there since the morning. It is a bit lived-in, but it works for what we do.
