Qba Restaurant &Bar

You can find us at 141-A in Chander Vihar, over in the Mandawali Fazalpur area of Delhi. It’s a busy neighborhood, and we fit right in with the noise and the energy. Qba is where people come when they’re finished with their long shifts and just want to sit down for a bit. We spend a lot of time polishing glasses and making sure the chairs are lined up right before the evening crowd shows up. The floor is a bit uneven in the back, but nobody seems to mind once the music starts. We’ve got a kitchen that’s always got something frying, and the smell of spices usually drifts out into the street. It’s not a quiet place, especially on the weekends when everyone is out and about. I’m usually behind the counter, keeping an eye on the stock and making sure the fridge is cold. We’ve had the same regulars for a long time now, and we know exactly what they’re going to order before they even sit down. It’s a lot of hard work, especially the cleaning up at 2 AM, but it’s what we know. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we like it just the way it is. It feels lived in and real, which is why people keep coming back to see us.
