Qatar Aviation Services

We are based at 54, Munirka Vihar in New Delhi. Even though the address says Haryana, we are right here in the 110067 area of the city. Qatar Aviation Services is what we call ourselves. We handle a lot of the behind-the-scenes work for aviation. It’s mostly stuff like logistics and making sure things are where they need to be at the airport. Our office in Munirka Vihar is where we do all the scheduling and talk to the crews. It's a decent-sized space but it gets cluttered with manuals and flight plans. We have been here for some time now. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it's a bit quieter than the airport itself. We spend our days on computers and talking on the radio or phone. It’s a lot of details to keep track of. If one thing goes wrong, it messes up everything else, so we have to stay focused. We drink a lot of coffee to stay awake during the early shifts. We aren't some big shiny corporation, just a team working out of this building. We don't have any fancy mission statements. We just try to get the planes serviced and moving on time. It's a practical job that requires a lot of patience. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, but we just keep at it until the work is done. It’s just a normal office with a lot of heavy binders. We enjoy the local food stalls nearby when we have a break.
