We are tucked away on the first floor at 6/40 in Amer Colony. Lajpat Nagar is always a crowded place, so getting to the office can be a bit of a struggle in the mornings with all the people and the rickshaws. We handle the airline stuff here, mostly helping people with their tickets or fixing mistakes in their bookings. It’s a plain office with a few desks and some chairs for people to wait in. We spend a lot of time on the phone with the airport or the main headquarters. It’s not always easy because people get stressed about their flights and sometimes they are not very happy when there is a delay. We just listen and try to see what the computer says we can do. We have been at this spot in Amer Colony for a bit now. Most of us have worked here for years and we know how the system works. We don't use any fancy talk or corporate jargon. We just tell you what the flight price is or how much luggage you can take. Sometimes we have to stay late if there is a big storm or a flight cancellation that needs fixing. Qatar Airways is a big name, but here in this small Delhi office, we are just regular folks doing our jobs. We make sure the passports are scanned and the seats are assigned correctly so people can get to where they are going.
