Our office is tucked away in Kashmiri Colony in Najafgarh, at House Number 1 in Z-Block. We are situated right across from the Shiv Mandir on Paprawat Road. It is a very local neighborhood and the temple makes it easy for people to find where we are. The office is actually inside Mr. Teja Singh’s house, which we use for our daily company business. It isn't a corporate building with elevators or glass walls. We just have a few rooms set up with desks and some older computers to get the work done. It gets very busy on this street during festivals because of the temple being so close. We can hear the bells and the singing throughout the day, which is actually quite nice to listen to while we work. We are a small team and most of us have known each other for years. There is a lot of tea drinking and chatting that happens in between tasks. We don't have any kind of formal dress code, so most of us just wear whatever is comfortable for the weather. The road outside is often bumpy and can get very dusty when the wind picks up. We spend most of our hours managing local orders and dealing with various piles of paperwork. It’s a simple way of working and we don't try to be anything we aren't. We just do the job and go home. Being part of the community here is enough.
