Most people know us as the cinema over in Naraina Village. We are located at Wz-549/B, which is a spot that gets pretty crowded on Friday nights when the new movies come out. It’s a big building, but inside it’s just a bunch of regular people working the ticket counters and the snack stands. We spend a lot of time sweeping up floors and getting the halls ready for the next show. It is a lot of work that people don't really see when they are watching the screen. The projector room is usually quiet, but the lobby can get real loud with kids and families. We’ve been at this Rajasthan address for a while now, though the pin code says Delhi, which sometimes confuses people. It’s just how the borders work around here. We don’t have a fancy story to tell. We just open the doors, turn on the lights, and show the films that people want to see. Some of us have worked here for years and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit. We don't do anything special besides making sure the sound works and the seats are okay. It’s a standard job in a standard cinema, and we just try to get through the busy shifts without too much trouble. Sometimes the popcorn machine acts up or a bulb burns out, but we just fix it and keep things moving. We aren't some giant corporate office; we are just the staff here in Naraina.
