About Puzzolana Green Bricks – Building & Construction Material in Delhi
If you ever find yourself walking around Janakpuri Block No D1, you’ll probably run into our spot at Plot No 11. It’s easy to miss if you aren't looking for it, tucked away where things are a bit quieter than the main roads. We deal mostly with these green bricks. People call them that because of how they’re made, not necessarily the color, though they have a specific look to them. The yard is mostly just piles of bricks waiting to be loaded onto small tempos. I spend a lot of my day just walking between the stacks and the gate. My phone rings a lot with guys asking if we have enough stock for their small house projects or renovations. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Usually, if someone comes by, we just talk outside or sit on a few bricks if the weather is nice. Sometimes the dust gets a bit much when the wind picks up, so we keep a bucket of water nearby to keep it down. The guys who work the yard have been here for years and they know exactly how to handle the bricks so they don't chip. It’s a straightforward kind of life here. We open up early, drink our chai, and get to stacking. By the time the sun goes down, we’re usually pretty tired but the yard looks a lot emptier than it did in the morning.
