Arjan Das Jain & Sons

Our family has been in Kinari Bazar for a long time. This is Plot No 2795, right in the middle of all the noise in Chandni Chowk. Arjan Das Jain & Sons is the name on the board, but to most people around here, we are just the neighbors. It is crowded and loud every single day, but that is just how Delhi is. You get used to the narrow lanes and the people pushing past. We keep a lot of stuff in the shop, mostly things that people have been coming to us for over the years. My sons help out when they can, and we all just pitch in. It is not a shiny new mall store. It's an old building with a lot of history. Sometimes the electricity goes out or the rain makes the street a mess, but we stay open. People come from all over just to see what’s in the bazar. We don’t do much advertising. Most people find us by word of mouth or they just stumble upon us while wandering the market. We try to be fair and just get on with our business. If you can find your way through the crowd to Kinari Bazar, you will see us there. It’s a lot of work keeping track of everything, but we like being here. It’s just our way of life in this part of the city.
