Balaji Bricks Field

If you are around Durgapuri Chowk in Shahdara, you might have seen our place. Balaji Bricks Field is located at Plot No. J-8/1 in West Jyoti Nagar. We are right near the Dominos, which is a good landmark for people who have not visited us before. Being in a busy area like this means we are always surrounded by traffic and people. It is a bit different from the big open fields where bricks are usually made. We have to be a bit more organized with our space because we do not have much of it. Every inch of the plot is covered in bricks or equipment. We spend most of our time dealing with deliveries and talking to local contractors who need supplies for their jobs in the city. It is a noisy environment, but we are used to it. We do not use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just make bricks and sell them to whoever needs them. Sometimes the logistics of getting trucks in and out of Durgapuri-Shahdara is a real headache, especially during peak hours. But we have been here long enough to figure out the best times. It is just me and a few workers trying to stay busy. We do not have a big office or anything. Most of the business is done standing right there on the dirt near the stacks. It is a simple life, but it works for us and keeps us moving forward.
