Jawahar Chand Sons has been a fixture in Sadar Bazar for a long time. We are right in the middle of the chaos at Gandhi Market, shop number 5766. If you know Sadar Bazar, you know it is never quiet. There is always someone shouting or a cart being pushed past. We have been in this spot for generations. It’s a family thing, really. The shop is small and packed to the ceiling with stuff. We don't have fancy displays or air conditioning that works all the time. It is just a real market shop. People come to us because they know we have been here forever and we treat them okay. We don't do much in the way of advertising. We don't really need to. Everyone in Gandhi Market knows where 5766 is. It’s a bit dusty and the aisles are narrow, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We spend our days talking to customers and sorting out stock that comes in. It’s a simple life but it keeps us busy from morning till night. We are proud to be part of the history of this market. You won't find any corporate talk here or people in suits.
