Mehra Furnishers

Mehra Furnishers is located at No. 31 on Punchkuian Road. We are directly opposite Metro Pillar No. 11, which makes it easy for people to find us in all the chaos of this busy street. This road is famous for furniture, and we have been a part of it for many years now. Our shop is packed with all kinds of things, from wooden chairs to big wardrobes, so it can be a bit of a squeeze to walk through the aisles. The air always has a bit of a sawdust smell, and there is usually a layer of dust on the front windows because of all the cars and buses passing by. We don't have a fancy showroom with spotlights; we just use the natural light that comes in through the open door. Most of our day is spent showing people different types of wood or explaining how a certain table was put together. We do a lot of the finishing work right here, so you might see someone polishing a cabinet in the back. The noise from the metro overhead is something we have gotten used to over the years. We open up quite early and stay until late because that is when most people have time to shop. It is a family-run kind of place, and we aren't into high-pressure sales. We just let people look around and answer their questions when they have them. It is just how we have always done things here.
