A. M. Furniture is located at A2/38 in Kirti Nagar. We are right in the thick of the Marble Market and Jawahar Market. If you walk around here, you’ll hear the sound of saws and the smell of fresh wood. Our shop is a bit of a mix between a store and a workshop. We have some finished pieces sitting out, but there’s also a lot of raw wood and tools lying around. It’s not a shiny showroom like you see in the malls. It’s a real place where things are actually built. We spend our days measuring wood, cutting it, and putting it together. Kirti Nagar is a huge market, so it’s always busy with trucks and people looking for deals. We stay at our spot at A2/38 and just focus on what we are making that day. Some days we are making chairs, other days it might be a big bed frame. It’s dusty work and we usually end the day with wood shavings on our clothes. We don't use fancy sales pitches. If someone likes what we’ve built, they buy it. We talk to the people about the different types of wood and what will last. It’s a local business and we’ve been here long enough that people know where to find us. It’s just us doing our best with the tools we have in the market.
