Property Sensex

Our office is down on the ground floor of D-135 in Ajay Enclave. It’s a pretty simple setup, just a couple of desks, some chairs for visitors, and a lot of folders. Being in Delhi, the property market is always doing something different, and we try to keep up with it from here. We aren't some big firm with fancy glass walls. It's just a local spot where people can walk in and talk about houses or shops. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or out walking around the blocks to look at different sites. The walls have some maps and lists of what’s available. It gets a bit dusty being on the ground floor so close to the street, but that’s just how it is. We keep a water cooler in the corner for anyone who stops by. Most of our clients are people from the neighborhood or nearby areas. We know these streets well because we're here every single day. There’s no big sales pitch here. We just show people what’s on the market and help them figure out the paperwork. It’s a lot of forms and signatures, which keeps us busy. Sometimes we have a few people waiting and it gets a bit crowded, but we make it work. It’s a practical, local business and we like being part of the community here in Ajay Enclave. We usually close up around seven in the evening if it's not too busy.
