Prompt Car Rental operates out of D25, Street No-24 in Molar Band Ext., Badar Pur. This is on the edge of New Delhi, and the area is quite busy with a lot of local traffic and dust. We have a yard where we keep the cars and a small office where we handle the keys and the paperwork. It’s a very basic setup at D25. We spend a lot of time under the hoods of cars or washing them down after they come back from a long trip. The roads around Badar Pur can be rough, so we are always checking the tires and the suspension. It’s a lot of work to keep the fleet in good shape. We don’t have a glossy showroom or people in fancy uniforms. We’re just guys in work clothes trying to make sure the cars are ready for the next person. When someone rents a car, we go over the scratches and the fuel level with them. It’s all very straightforward. Street No-24 is a bit tucked away, so we often have to give people directions over the phone. We’ve been here for a while and we know how to deal with the local driving conditions. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living. We provide the cars, and the people drive them where they need to go. No big fuss about it. We just hand over the keys and hope the traffic isn't too bad today.
