Progressive Accessories

Progressive Accessories is located at J 39 in Lajpat Nagar. We’ve been here for a while, tucked away in one of the busy blocks. We deal in different types of accessories, mostly small items that people need for their clothes or daily use. The shop is pretty small, but we try to fit as much as we can on the shelves. It can get a bit cluttered, but we usually know where to find things if someone asks. We spend a lot of time sorting through new stock and making sure the displays aren't too messy. Lajpat Nagar is a tough place to run a business because there is so much competition, but we just focus on what’s in front of us. We aren't a big chain store with matching uniforms. We are just a few people working together to keep the shop running. We see a lot of different people every day, from locals to shoppers who have traveled across the city. Sometimes it’s quiet, and we just spend the afternoon organizing the drawers. Other times it’s so busy we can barely keep up. We don't have a mission statement or any of that. We just want to sell our goods and make sure the shop stays open for another day. It’s a practical way of living. We’ve built a decent life here in J 39, and we plan to keep going as long as people keep coming through the door.
