I’ve been working here at Prognosys E Services for quite some time now. Our office is tucked away on the first floor in New Delhi. It isn’t much to look at from the street, just a regular door that leads up some narrow stairs. Inside, it’s mostly just us and a bunch of computers. We do electronic services, which means a lot of screen time and sorting through data for people who need things done online. Some days the fans just push the warm air around, but we have a small AC unit that tries its best. There’s a tea stall right around the corner where we get our morning chai. It’s a small team here. We know each other's families and what everyone likes for lunch. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy because of the traffic outside, but you get used to the honking after a week or two. We don't have a big lobby or fancy plants. Just desks, chairs, and stacks of papers that we eventually get through. Most of our work comes from word of mouth or old contacts we’ve known for years. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from nine to six, though sometimes we stay later if a project is dragging on. We don’t really do big meetings; we just shout across the room if we need something. It’s a simple way to run things, and it works for us.
