Arya Nagar 96 is where you’ll find us, right in the Hsidc area. It’s quite an active spot with all the factories and offices around. Pratima Telecom has been here long enough that the postman doesn't even need to look at the number anymore. The morning starts early because workers in the area need things before their shifts begin. We spend a lot of time behind the counter. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they hold all our display racks just fine. Most people come in for quick recharges or to ask about data plans that don't cut out. It gets dusty because of the trucks passing by on the main road. We keep a rag handy to wipe down the glass cases every hour. It's not a big glamorous showroom. It’s just a room with phones and cables. We have two plastic chairs for anyone who has to wait while we check a connection. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, and we just wait it out. Life in an industrial zone like this is steady. You get to know the security guards and the supervisors from nearby factories. We talk about the weather or the traffic while we work. It’s a simple setup at Pratima Telecom. Nothing fancy, just the basic stuff people need to stay connected while they’re out working. We just keep doing what we do every day without much fuss and it keeps us busy.
