We are over at Khichripur 2/153. This is a local neighborhood shop, nothing like the big showrooms you see in the city center. Our space is quite small, just enough for a couple of people to stand inside while we look at their phones. Most of the people who come here are from the nearby houses. We do recharges, sell some basic accessories, and handle minor repairs like broken screens or charging ports that won't work anymore. The walls are covered with posters for different data plans that are probably out of date, but we keep them up anyway. There is an old ceiling fan that makes a clicking noise, but it keeps the air moving. We don't have a computer system to track everything; we just use a thick register and a pen. It is a quiet street most of the time, except when the school nearby lets out and the kids come by looking for earphones or cheap covers. We try to be helpful and honest about what can be fixed and what is just junk. It is a simple way to make a living, and we know most of our customers by their first names. If we are not behind the counter, we are probably just sitting outside on the step talking to the neighbor who runs the dairy.
