I’ve been sitting here at Prashant Communication for quite a few years now. Our spot is right on Street No-11, the main road part of Brahampuri, so there is always a lot of noise and people walking past the door at J-1. Most days start the same way. I unlock the shutters, wipe the dust off the glass counters, and wait for the first person who dropped their phone or needs a quick recharge. It’s not a big fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a small shop where we keep a bunch of chargers, screen guards, and those little things people always seem to lose. Sometimes a guy comes in because his speaker isn't working, or a kid wants a new cover for a phone that’s already cracked. We spend a lot of time squinting at tiny screws under a desk lamp. The traffic outside never really stops. You hear the bikes and the rickshaws all day long. If someone needs a new SIM card or their data isn’t working, they just pop in. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know how to fix a screen or explain why a battery is draining too fast. It gets pretty crowded in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work and realizes they forgot to pay a bill or their charger finally snapped. We just keep things moving, one customer at a time, making sure people can stay connected without too much trouble.
