Prakhar Travels

You can find us on the first floor at F-89 in Katwaria Sarai. This part of New Delhi is always buzzing, especially with all the students and young professionals living in the nearby hostels and flats. Our office for Prakhar Travels is just up a short flight of stairs that can be a bit steep. It’s a basic setup with a few chairs for customers and our main workstations. We mostly deal with car rentals and bus bookings for people heading out of the city for the weekend. Since we are on the first floor, it’s a bit louder than we'd like but you get used to hearing the bikes and horns all day long. We keep a logbook for all the trips and drivers. It’s a lot of coordination, making sure everyone is where they should be at the right time. Sometimes a driver is late or a car needs a repair, and that’s when it gets stressful for us. We have a small window that looks out onto the street below. Usually, we start early in the morning because that is when most people want to leave for their trips. We aren’t a big corporation, just a local team trying to keep the cars moving and the schedules tight. We’ve got a small fridge for water and a kettle for making tea during the slow hours. Most of our clients are people from the neighborhood who’ve used us before. We don't have any flashy signs, just a name on the door.
