Prakash Trading Co

Roshanara Road is a place that never really stays quiet, and we’re right in the middle of it at 4762. Prakash Trading Co has been operating from this spot for a long time. The building is old, with high ceilings and some cracks in the plaster that we’ve stopped noticing. Most of our day is spent on the phone or writing out bills by hand. There’s always a stack of papers on the desk that needs sorting. We deal with a lot of traders and transport people because of where we are located. The trucks outside make it hard to talk sometimes, especially in the mornings when they’re all trying to unload. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s mostly just desks, shelves, and a lot of boxes stacked up against the back wall. We try to keep things organized, but in a trading business, stuff just piles up. Some days are slow and we just sit and read the paper, but other days we don’t even have time for lunch. It’s a practical kind of place. We don’t put on any acts for the people who come in. They know us and we know them. Roshanara Road is a busy stretch, and we’ve just become a fixture of the street over the decades. We’re just here to do our work and keep the trading moving along.
