Pradeep Tyagi

I live and work here in Nathiala, which is a small village in Baghpat. Most people around here know me just as Pradeep Tyagi. I don’t have a big office building or a website. This is just my home and where I do my business from. In the U.P. countryside, things move a bit slower. We wake up early when the sun comes up. Most of the work involves talking to neighbors and handling local trade. It’s been this way for a long time. My family has been in this village for generations. There’s a lot of dust in the summer and plenty of mud when the monsoon hits. You won't find any corporate suits here. I usually just wear my regular clothes and meet people under the tree or in the front room. We talk about the crops and the local news while we work. It’s a simple way of living. Sometimes I have to travel to the city for supplies, but I’m always happy to come back to the village. Nathiala is a quiet place where everyone knows everyone else’s business. I don’t need a big sign on the door. If you need me, you just ask anyone in the village and they will point you to my house. That’s how we do things in Baghpat. It's honest work and it keeps the family fed. We don't need much more than that.
