Mangolpuri Shop No A/462,Main Sabji Mandi is where you'll find us. It’s right in the middle of all the noise and the vegetable carts. Prabhat Marketing Co has been here for years, and the area hasn't changed much, just gotten a lot busier over time. We sell all sorts of items that people and small shops around the area need. It’s a lot of boxes coming in and going out every single day. The floor is concrete and probably needs a good scrub, but we are always too busy moving crates around to worry about that. My brother and I run the show, and we usually have a tea around four o'clock if it's not too crazy. Dealing with the traffic in the Mandi is the hardest part. Sometimes the trucks can't even get to the door because of the vegetable vendors setting up early. We just manage somehow. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just walk in or call us on the old landline. The walls are covered with old calendars and notes we’ve scribbled over the months. It’s a practical setup for a business like this. We know most of the people who come in by their first names. If the weather is bad, the roof leaks a little near the back window, but we keep the stock far away from that spot. It’s a simple business, nothing fancy, just a part of the daily grind here.
