Poswal Telecom

We are located at 9/196/3 in Madangir, and the shop is called Poswal Telecom. It’s a small place but it serves the local community here well. Most of the day is spent handling small requests, like someone needing a new SIM card or wanting to pay their monthly phone bill. We also keep a variety of mobile covers and screen protectors on the walls for people to choose from. The shop is tucked away in the residential lanes, so we get a lot of the same faces every week. It’s been a few years since we started here. We don't have any corporate training or anything like that; we just learned by doing the work every day. Fixing phones is a big part of what happens here. People bring in devices that have been through a lot, like getting dropped or getting wet in the rain. We do our best to get them working again. Sometimes the parts take a while to arrive from the main market, so we tell people to be patient for a few days. The shop is usually a bit cluttered with boxes and old parts, but we know where everything is. It’s a quiet life most of the time, except for when the market gets busy in the evenings after everyone finishes their jobs. We like being part of the Madangir neighborhood. We don't do much advertising; people just find us by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor. We just try to be useful and keep things running day by day.
