Ploof Restaurant

Ploof Restaurant is tucked away on the third floor of H-8 in BK Dutt Colony. If you know Lodhi Road, you know it’s a nice area but finding us for the first time might take a minute. We’ve been up here in New Delhi for some time, making food and trying to keep everything running smooth. The kitchen is where most of the noise happens. It's not a huge place, but we make it work. Being on the third floor means carrying supplies up is a bit of a workout every morning. We get the fresh stuff early and start prepping before the sun gets too high. The staff here has been together for a bit, so we know how each other works without saying much. It’s not a fancy corporate chain where everything is frozen. We actually cook things. Sometimes the air conditioner acts up when it’s really humid out, but that’s just part of life in Delhi. We see a lot of regulars who live nearby or work around Lodhi Road. It feels more like a neighborhood spot than a big destination. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us, the stove, and the tables. We try to keep the place clean and the food hot. That's pretty much the whole story. If you’re around BK Dutt Colony, you probably already heard the clinking of our pans and the smell of the day's special. We just like cooking and serving people without any of the extra fuss.
