Pizza Hut

This Pizza Hut is right on Pankha Road in Jeevan Park. It’s a busy stretch of road and there’s always something happening outside. Inside, it smells like bread and tomato sauce most of the time. We have the ovens going from morning until late at night. The staff here is mostly local guys who live nearby in New Delhi. We spend a lot of time packing boxes and making sure the delivery bikes are ready to go. The address is C/89, and it’s a pretty easy place to spot if you’re driving by. It gets really crowded on weekend evenings when families come in to eat. We have to keep cleaning the tables and mopping the floor because of all the foot traffic. It’s a lot of work standing on your feet all day by the heat of the ovens. Sometimes the AC struggles when it’s really hot outside, but we manage. We get a lot of regular customers from the neighborhood who just want a quick meal. It’s not a fancy restaurant, just a practical place for people to get food. We try to keep the kitchen tidy, but when twenty orders come in at once, things get a bit messy for a while. That’s just the way it is in a busy kitchen. We usually close up late and then have to do it all again the next morning. There’s always flour on someone’s apron and the phone for orders never stops ringing.
