Pizza Hut

We are located at Wz-37 in Raj Nagar-2, which is part of the Palam Colony area, where we run this Pizza Hut. It is a busy corner and the traffic outside never really stops. Inside, the ovens are always running, so it stays pretty warm even when we turn the cooling up. We spend our time stretching dough and putting on toppings. Sometimes we run out of a certain vegetable and have to send someone to the local market nearby to grab some more so we can keep going. The floor in the kitchen is always covered in a thin layer of flour. We have a small seating area, but a lot of what we do is just packing boxes for the delivery riders who wait out front. The Palam area is quite crowded, so finding the right house number can be a pain for the new guys. We have a big clock on the wall that we all watch when it gets close to the end of our shift. The sink leaks a little bit in the back, but we just put a bucket under it. It’s not a five-star hotel, just a pizza shop where we try to get the orders out before they get cold. The smell of bread is something you never really get out of your clothes. We’ve been here in New Delhi-45 for a good while now. The street noise makes it hard to hear customers sometimes.
