Pizza Hut

Our shop is at House Number 9 in Dilshad Colony. It’s a pretty busy little corner in New Delhi-95. Most of our day is spent around the ovens. It gets hot in the kitchen, especially during the dinner rush when everyone in the colony wants a meal at the same time. We have a small team here. Some of us do the dough, others handle the toppings, and then there are the drivers who know every shortcut in the neighborhood. It’s a lot of work keeping everything clean and making sure the ingredients are fresh. We don’t really do anything fancy with the decor; it’s just a place to get some food. People from the nearby houses often walk over to pick up their orders. You get to know the regulars after a while—what they like on their pizza and which ones are always in a hurry. We’ve had some long nights when the orders just don't stop coming. Sometimes we make mistakes, but we try to fix them quickly. Working in Dilshad Colony is good because it feels like a real community. You see the same faces every week. We aren't a giant corporate office; we are just the people working the shift at Ho.No--9. It’s a lot of flour on our clothes and the smell of baking bread everywhere. That’s just life at the shop. We keep the ovens going and the doors open for whoever is hungry in the neighborhood.
