If you are looking for us, we are up on the third floor of the Madangir DDA flats, specifically 32/1044. It is in New Delhi 62, which is a place many people know well. The climb up the stairs can be a bit of a workout, but that is just part of being in this building. Downstairs there is always something going on, people talking or kids playing around the flats. Up here, we focus on getting the food ready and making sure the kitchen stays organized. It gets quite warm in the back where the cooking happens, especially in the middle of the afternoon. We have been in this spot for some time and have seen the neighborhood grow and change around us. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are more concerned with the orders coming in. We are not some high-end place with white tablecloths and waiters in vests. It is more of a local operation where we know the names of the delivery guys and the people who live in the next block. Sometimes it gets a bit hectic when a lot of orders come at once, but we just handle it one by one. Life in a DDA flat office is never quiet, but it feels like home to us. We just keep our heads down and do the work every day without much fuss.
