Pind Balluchi Restaurant

Our restaurant is located at House No C/18 in Neelkant Bhavan, right on the Sant Nagar Main Road in Burari. It’s a lively part of Delhi and there is always something going on outside our windows. We spend our days getting the kitchen ready and making sure the tables are set for whoever walks in. It’s a family-style place, so things can get a bit noisy when it’s full of people eating and talking. We don't use any of those fancy restaurant management systems that the big chains have. We just write things down and make sure the food gets to the right table. The building, Neelkant Bhavan, is pretty easy to spot if you are driving down the main road. Sometimes the air conditioning acts up or we run out of a specific ingredient, but we just find a way to make it work. It’s honest work and we enjoy seeing the regular customers who come back every week. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in India; we just want to be the place in Burari where you can get a decent meal. The staff is mostly local people who live nearby, so it feels like a neighborhood spot. There is always a lot of washing up to do at the end of the night, but that is just part of the job here. We’re just a bunch of people cooking food and trying to keep the place going.
