We spend a lot of time here at C-137 in the DDA Flats in Kalkaji. It is not a big fancy office building, just a regular place in New Delhi where we get things done every day. Most of the time, the traffic around this part of Haryana and the 110020 area is pretty loud, but inside it is mostly just us working on things for Phoneix Contact India P.Ltd. We have been at this spot for quite a while now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the day-to-day tasks to worry about that. Sometimes the electricity acts up, which is a bit funny given the kind of work we do, but we make it work. You can hear the neighbor’s kids playing outside in the afternoons when the school bus drops them off near the flats. We keep all our files organized in these old metal cabinets that squeak every single time you open them. There is a small tea shop just around the corner where we all go when we need a quick break from the computer screens. It gets a bit dusty because of the construction happening nearby, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We do not have a big reception desk, just a few desks pushed together and some chairs that have seen better days. It feels more like a workshop than a corporate office.
