Philips Electronics Ltd India

Our place is located at 153/8 in Village Mandoli, near the Nand Nagri post office area. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but this is where we do our work. Being part of Philips Electronics in a place like Mandoli means we see a lot of the industrial side of things. It’s not a polished showroom with glass windows. It is more of a practical space where we handle the inventory and the local distribution side of the business. The roads around here can be pretty rough, especially when it rains and everything turns to mud. Inside, it’s mostly boxes stacked up and people checking manifests. We have a lot of local workers from the village and surrounding areas. It gets pretty hot in the warehouse during the summer months, so we have a few big fans going all the time. We don't really have a lot of visitors, mostly just delivery trucks and the occasional supervisor checking in to see how things are moving. It’s a busy environment where something is always being moved from one side of the room to the other. We don't spend much time on fancy talk. We just focus on making sure the right boxes get onto the right trucks at the right time. The tea stall right outside the main gate is where we all end up at the end of the shift. It’s just honest work.
