Personnel Administration Department Part

You can find us over in Lajpat Nagar-1St. We are up on the third floor of building E-27. It’s a bit of a climb since the elevator isn't always working like it should, but the view of the market is okay from up there. The name of this place is Personnel Administration Department Part. It sounds very official and maybe a bit stiff, but we are just regular people working in an office. New Delhi is always hot in the summer, and our floor gets quite a bit of sun throughout the afternoon. We have a couple of old fans that stay on all day long to keep the air moving. The desks are a bit scratched up and the files are stacked pretty high in the corner. We spend most of our time dealing with records and various bits of paperwork. Lajpat Nagar is a busy area, so there’s always something happening outside the window. It’s never really quiet around here. We’ve been at this address for a long time. The landlord is a nice guy who checks in once a month to see if we need anything. We keep things pretty informal inside the office. No suits or fancy clothes for us. Just comfortable stuff for a long day of work. We have our small kitchen area for making tea and warming up lunch. It’s a simple setup. We don’t need anything expensive to do our jobs properly. Most of us have been working together for years. We know each other's habits.
