Our office is at C-2823 on Meena Bakery Road in Lucknow. It is a busy little street and most days you can smell the fresh bread from the bakery nearby when they start their ovens. We aren't in one of those new glass buildings you see in the city center. This is a much older, more traditional spot. Inside, things are pretty basic. We have some heavy wooden desks and a lot of filing cabinets that have been here since we opened. The floor is a bit worn in the spots where people walk the most. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to make the place look polished. It is just us, sitting here and dealing with the daily paperwork and customers. Sometimes the traffic outside gets so loud we have to close the windows, but then it gets a bit warm inside. We have a small cooler for water in the corner. Most of our day is spent on the phone or working through stacks of documents. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of this road over the years. It isn't a fancy setup, but it works for what we do. We like the fact that we are easy to find because of the bakery. If you get lost, you just ask anyone where the Meena Bakery is and they point you right to our door. It is a simple life here in this part of Lucknow.
