Park Plaza Gurgaon

This one is a bit of a funny story because the name says Gurgaon but we are actually located in Jammu. To be exact, we’re out in Rang Pur Sadhrey, R.S. Pura. It’s a different pace of life up here in J&K compared to the big cities. The air is different, and the way people talk is a bit more relaxed. We run this place with a small crew. It's a hotel, and we see people coming through for all sorts of reasons. Some are visiting family, and others are just passing through the region. The building has been here for a bit, and it shows its age in some spots, but we keep it tidy. I usually spend my mornings checking the rooms and making sure the kitchen has what it needs. We don't have those big city marketing teams or anything. It's just us. If someone needs a towel or an extra blanket, they just ask. The surroundings are quiet, mostly fields and local houses. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a glossy magazine, but it’s comfortable enough for a night or two. We try to make people feel welcome without being over the top about it. Sometimes the power goes out, which is common around here, but we have a generator to keep things going. It's just a simple life running a business in R.S. Pura, and we like it that way.
