Pardeep Communication

You can find us at Anand Parbat, Gali No 10, P-8. It’s a small shop in a busy lane. We handle mobile phones and recharges mostly. People come in when their screens are cracked or if their battery isn't holding a charge anymore. It's a narrow space, so if three people come in at once, it feels full. We have a small glass counter where we keep some cables and covers. Most of the day is spent peering through a magnifying glass at tiny circuit boards. The lighting isn't great but we added a few extra bulbs last month. We see a lot of different people every day. Some just want to add balance to their phones, others have complicated software issues. We don't promise to fix everything instantly because sometimes parts have to be ordered from elsewhere. It's a lot of sitting in one spot. My friend brings over tea twice a day from the stall around the corner. We listen to the radio while we work to pass the time. The street outside Gali No 10 is always loud with scooters and people shouting. We keep the door open to get some air. It’s a simple setup. We’ve been in this neighborhood long enough that everyone knows Pardeep’s place. We just try to help out with whatever phone trouble someone brings in.
