We run Pardaksina Tours Pvt. Ltd. from the village of Nalagehra. It’s a small place in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. To find us, you have to go through Sarkaghat and head toward the Dhalwan post office. It is a beautiful part of the world to work in, though it can get a bit cold in the winters. Being based in a village means we have a very different pace than the big city companies. We deal with tours and travel, mostly helping people navigate the hills and the surrounding areas. Our office is just a simple building in the village. We don't have flashy signs or a lot of high-tech gear. It’s more about knowing the roads and the people. Sometimes the mountain weather makes the phone lines a bit spotty but we usually find a way to get through. Most of us grew up around here so we know the local spots better than any map. We spend our days answering questions and making sure the transport is ready for the next group. It is honest work and we like being part of the community here in Nalagehra. We don't try to be something we aren't. We just provide a way for people to see the hills without getting lost. It is a quiet life but we stay busy enough with the visitors who come through the district. We enjoy the fresh air while we work on our bookings.
