Our place at A-96/4 in the Wazirpur Industrial Area is where all the action happens for Paras Impo-Expo Pvt. Ltd. It’s a bit of a maze back here among all the other industrial units. We’ve been in this spot for several years now, and the building has seen a lot of use. We handle a lot of different goods coming in and going out, so there’s always a bit of chaos with the paperwork and the boxes. The office part is just a small partitioned area where we try to keep the dust off the computers. Outside the office window, you just see the lane and the various workers moving materials on handcarts. It’s a practical setup. We don’t believe in having a lot of unnecessary stuff around. If a machine needs fixing or a shipment is late, that’s what we focus on. We have a small group of people who handle the logistics and the loading. It’s a noisy environment, but you get used to the sounds of the industrial area after a few weeks. We don't do much in the way of fancy meetings. Usually, we just talk over a cup of tea in the morning and decide what needs to get done by evening. It’s a long day, often starting before eight and ending well after dark. We’re just a regular company trying to keep things moving in the export and import business without making too much of a fuss about the small things.
