P. M. P. Impex

Naya Bazar is famous for being one of the busiest trading hubs, and we are right there on the first floor of 3973/74. P. M. P. Impex has been operating out of this spot for quite a while. Getting up the stairs can be a bit of a challenge when people are carrying heavy sacks of grain or spices up and down. The air in the bazar always smells like dust and dried goods. Our office is pretty simple—just some desks, a few chairs, and a lot of files stacked up against the walls. We spend our time on the phone or talking to brokers who drop by to check the rates. It’s a lot of back-and-forth work. We deal with the logistics of moving goods from one place to another, which means we’re always checking on truck drivers and warehouses. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit. Most days it’s just plain shirts and comfortable shoes because you’re constantly moving. The market is so tight that you can hear the conversations from the next shop over. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. People who need us know exactly where we are. Sometimes the tea boy misses our floor, or the internet goes slow, but we manage to get the trades done anyway. It’s just the way life goes in the heart of the old city trading district, where everyone is trying to make their way through the busy week.
