Our setup is in Flat No 312 at the Chandanwari CGHS Ltd, which is on Plot No 8 in Sector 10, Dwarka. It’s a residential society, so it feels a lot more like a home than a typical office building. We go through the main gate and take the lift up to the third floor. Inside the flat, we’ve turned the rooms into workspaces. There are files stacked on shelves and some old travel posters pinned to the walls. It’s a quiet place to work compared to the noisier parts of New Delhi. We have a small balcony where we can step out and get some fresh air when the weather is nice. You can see the common park from there. We spend a lot of time on the computer looking at schedules and prices. Sometimes the printer jams right when we need to hand over some papers, and we all end up standing around it trying to fix it. We keep a stash of biscuits in the kitchen for when we get hungry in the afternoon. Most of the people living in the building know us as the office on the third floor. It’s a steady environment. We don’t have a lobby or a receptionist in a suit. You just ring the doorbell and one of us comes to open it. It’s a very straightforward way of running things and we like the neighborhood.
