Paramount Airways(P)Ltd has its spot over at S 27 in Naveen Shahdara. If you know this part of Delhi, you know it can get pretty crowded and loud. Our office is tucked in there, and it’s where a lot of the planning happens. It’s not a huge airport terminal or anything like that. It’s just a functional space with some old desks and a lot of maps pinned to the walls. We deal with a lot of phone calls throughout the day, mostly people asking about flights or schedules. The air conditioning works okay, but on the really hot Delhi days, we all feel it. There’s always someone coming in or out with a briefcase or a laptop. We’ve got a small kitchen area where the kettle is almost always on because we drink a lot of chai to keep going. The furniture is a bit mismatched, and the carpet has a few stains from spilled coffee over the years, but it’s a place where work gets done. Shahdara has its own energy, and we are right in the middle of it. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to say hello or ask for help with something. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just run the airline operations from here and try to keep everything organized. It’s a lot of staring at screens and checking numbers.
