You can find Pankaj Tourist Services at C-20 on Church Mission Road, right near Fateh Puri in Chandni Chowk. If you’ve been to this part of Old Delhi, you know how hectic and crowded it is. Our office is tucked away in the middle of all that chaos. It’s an old building with narrow stairs and a lot of history. Inside, it’s a bit more peaceful, though you can still hear the rickshaws and vendors shouting outside. We have a few desks crammed into the room and a lot of old maps pinned to the walls. We spend our time looking up train routes and talking to people who are planning trips across the country. The internet can be a bit patchy in this area, so we often end up doing things the old-fashioned way with phone calls and notebooks. It’s a busy place and there’s always someone coming in to ask a question or pick up a ticket. We don’t have a lot of space, so things tend to get a bit messy with all the paperwork. We drink a lot of chai from the shop downstairs while we work. It’s not a polished or modern office, but it’s where we’ve been for years. We like the energy of Chandni Chowk, even if it’s a bit much sometimes. We just keep our heads down and help folks get where they need to go, one booking at a time, right here on Church Mission Road. It is just the way things are.
