Panjabi By Nature

Panjabi By Nature is situated at 86/9 Mehla Apartment, specifically in Flat No.14 in the Kishan Garh area of Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. It’s a bit of a unique setup because we are working out of an apartment building rather than a standard storefront on a main road. This means things can get a bit tight in the kitchen, especially when we have a lot of orders coming in at once. The smell of ginger, garlic, and spices is pretty much always hanging in the air around our floor. We focus on the kind of food we grew up with, the heavy, flavorful stuff that people in Delhi seem to love. It’s a lot of chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and making sure the tandoor or the stove is at the right temperature. We don't have any waitstaff in fancy uniforms or a big dining hall. Most of the time, we are just busy packing up containers and getting things ready for delivery or pickup. Kishan Garh is a crowded place, and Vasant Kunj has its own pace, so we are always trying to keep up with the demand from the neighborhood. It’s messy work sometimes, and the kitchen gets incredibly hot in the summer months, but we just keep going. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in the city, just a reliable spot where you can get a decent meal that tastes like it was made by someone who actually knows how to cook.
